De-Stress Between Work and Home
Transitioning from work to home can be a challenge - especially if work is stressful or leaves you with on-going thoughts or worries on your way home. However, for your own health and well-being, as well as for your relationships, the need to de-stress and transition your mind before you get home is crucial. This 5-minute meditation will help you do just that! It can be done in your car outside your home, in a quiet space outside or as soon as you arrive home, or even on the bus or train.

Parent and Baby Calming
When your baby or toddler needs calming and nothing you do seems to work, it can often help to ensure you yourself are fully calm (often difficult to achieve!) and this visualization can be used to help you both arrive at a more peaceful state of being. It can also help your toddler or baby sleep if they are just restless and can't seem to settle. Use this visualization to soothe your little one, centring and calming yourself as well, to synchronize your child's internal state and well-being with your own.
For Children; The Path and Garden
A short guided visualization / meditation for children, (with visuals) to help them find a safe space in their imaginations, a place they can reference that helps them find a centre and an inner strength. Great for children who are anxious or stressed, or to help them become calm and centred. Also helps build resilience and self-confidence.
Shifting Your Inner Critic
It's often said that thoughts are things - and they definitely impact our emotions, sometimes very unhelpfully! Particularly when it comes to how we feel about ourself and our future, thoughts of 'what if?' fuel feelings of worry, anxiety and insecurities about our own capabilities. In a social context, when we feel rejected, offended, embarrassed or resentful, our brain reads it as a threat to survival and ruminating on negative thoughts will feed those emotions which in turn amplify the thoughts and it becomes an endless dark cycle. Breaking this cycle is not always easy, but nevertheless can be quite simple to do. Here's a short meditation to help you.
Transforming Anxiety
Dealing with uncertainty and threats we cannot control can cause incessant worrying thoughts, intense feelings of anxiety and even fear. Navigating social media as well as the predominantly negative news we are bombarded with, on all our devices, can make it even more challenging to retain our mental and emotional health. But it doesn't need to be that challenging - we have more control of our response and our emotional health than we may think. Here, I have put together a summary of ten tips, all tried and tested and evidence based, for you to have all in one place, to help you handle difficult emotions and reactions, and take charge of what you CAN control.
