Born, raised and educated in Europe, - with degrees and credentials in Education, Pedagogy, Counseling and Stress Management, and a background as a professional dance teacher and choreographer,- she spent almost a decade studying alternative approaches to stress and emotional management. Jennifer wrote her first book CREATIVE VISUALIZATION WITH CHILDREN - A PRACTICAL GUIDE FOR PARENTS in 1993, (Element Books,), which is to date available in eight languages. Her second book, CHILDREN BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SAY, a guide to building self-esteem in children was published in 1997 and is also available in Spanish, Italian, French and German. A member of The Authors Guild, Jennifer has also edited several books, including AWAKEN THE GENIUS IN YOUR CHILD (Element 1998) and THE TEENAGE LIBERATION HANDBOOK (Element 1997), and is contributing author of WHEN ALL THE WORLD'S ASLEEP - THE CHILDREN'S BOOK OF POEMS, PRAYERS AND MEDITATIONS (Element Children's Books 1998). Her latest book BEING WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE, is being published in the fall of 2007.

Jennifer is also a mother of thirty years. With her daughter, artist and designer, Tammy Day, she co-founded Children Believe INC., a company dedicated to providing high quality resources and support for parents and families.

An avid child advocate, she is currently active in communities both in the United States and in the United Kingdom, offering private and corporate trainings and coaching, and  Applied Emotional  Mastery  workshops.
